The Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection has graduated hundreds of protégé firms, many of whom are industry leaders in their respective fields of endeavor. Alumni programming is an integral part of the GMPC experience, allowing past participants to stay connected, exchange ideas and continue to develop after graduation. GMPC alumni, who have won significant contracts and countless awards over the years, are the best representation of the quality and overall impact of the program.

The Accelerate initiative is a circle of alumni CEOs who have enrolled in a program designed to leverage that program’s development outcomes while furthering the growth of protégé firms through interactive events and educational activities. Open to no more than 25 alumni business owners, the goals of the Accelerate Group are –

• Provide opportunities for ongoing networking and engagement among alumni

• Engage in mutual capacity-building activities tailored to the group

• Share best practices and explore industry trends

• Leverage mutual skill sets and capabilities for partnership opportunities

• Support one another in the aftermath of GMPC graduation

• Create a vehicle for alumni to support and engage future GMPC classes

Mentoring Circles – alumni continue to experience mentoring support from Georgia corporations, but in a group format. Committed corporate mentors facilitate periodic meetings and provide essential resources for continues growth.

Alumni In Motion (AIM) – CEOs of GMPC alumni convene to network, engage one another, discuss current trends and collaborate for their mutual benefit. This group is a vital feedback circle for continuous improvement of the GMPC curriculum

Educational Sessions – alumni have access to continuing education programming on a variety of relevant topics. The sessions for 2019 are the Growth Forum, Brand Revolution/Digital Marketing, GMPC Talks Leadership @ UPS, Organizational Health, and Global Talent Trends.
